Windsurfing: Cruising the lake

Windsurfing is back! With the introduction of new lightweight sails and small widestyle boards this fun sport has never been more accessible. Learning to windsurf now is a breeze with qualified instruction resulting in a fun learning process. 

Sudwindsports Windsurfing School 

Our windsurfing lessons take place on the safe shallow lagoon "Etang de Pissevaches", a salt-water lake excellent for beginners, intermediates and children under all wind directions. We use the latest wide style windsurfing boards and light weight sails and children's rigs. We also offering the possibility to rent equipment to practice by yourself after your lessons. Our qualified instructors teach people of all levels and nationalities how to sail safely and independently, with the aim to make sure people enjoy the sport to the fullest and get " the hype". All Sudwindsports windsurfing courses are taught in English. The maximum number of students per instructor is 6, and each student will have a board and sail for the full duration of the lesson. Make sure to book your courses in advance, so that we can guarantee you a place. For more advanced windsurfers the centre has limited equipment. Please contact us with your requirements and we will do our best to help. 

RYA

 Since 2005 Sudwindsports has been affiliated to the Royal Yachting Association (RYA), the British watersports governing body. Our windsurfing courses are organized according to the RYA standards which ensure safe, fun and quick learning. All instructors hold RYA or equivalent qualifications and are regularly monitored.
